Factors to consider in designing a website

I stumbled upon Webthesurfi Rugs Webdesign while searching for web design tutorials, these are the factors to be considered in designing your sites.

 

  1. Make your site load fast.
  2. Use the header tags (h1, h2, h3, h4) properly.
  3. Avoid using flash
  4. Use of image is good but make it minimal.

Making it to the Busby SEO Challenge Leader Board

Finally my official entry for the Busby SEO Challenge has made it to the leaderboard today, this is after almost a month of joining the contest.

The best thing I can do now is to maintain my current standing.

SEO for Beginners

I stumbled upon this entry from Matt Cutts’s blog, in this video, Jefferson Graham was interviewing Google’s SEO specialist Matt Cutts.

Matt tackled basic search engine optimization techniques & busted most common misconception about Google’s algorithm.

Although short at 5 minutes or so, I find the article informative & useful for my quest to optimize my blog.

Pinoy Pro Blogger presents Busby SEO Challenge

After contemplating on joining or not, I’ve decided to joing the contest, my official entry for the Busby SEO Challenge will be Pinoy Pro Blogger.  All through out my SEO “career” this has been my go to site.

Pinoys Invades Busby SEO Challenge

During my recent check on the Busby SEO Challenge site’s leaderboard, I saw a number of familiar links.  I’ve seen them before in the Ituloy AngSulong & Paradise Philiipines SEO Contest. The good news is that they are placing well on the challenge.

 Would the winner of this challenge be a Pinoy?  That would be a good news for the Philippine SEO community.  As for me, I’m still deciding to join or not.

It’s Official

It is now out & official, Busby SEO Challenge is the latest SEO contest in the world wide web.

The newest SEO contest is on, the challenge is to optimize the keyword “Busby SEO Challenge” on Google.
PRIZES

  • First prize: $5,000
  • Second prize: $2,000
  • Third prize: $500

I have yet to decide on what URL will I use as an entry.

The SEO Journey

This is not my first try to venture into the Search Engine Optimization, it was in 2006 when I first heard of it.  From then on I tried to research every corner of the world wide web to see how this thing works.
 I tried everything available (except the paid offers since I can’t afford it yet) & would say quite successful in optimizing my blogs.  The remaining challenge now is how to win over some of the best SEO practitioner.  This is why I’m trying all the SEO contest available in the web.
