SEO for Beginners

I stumbled upon this entry from Matt Cutts’s blog, in this video, Jefferson Graham was interviewing Google’s SEO specialist Matt Cutts.

Matt tackled basic search engine optimization techniques & busted most common misconception about Google’s algorithm.

Although short at 5 minutes or so, I find the article informative & useful for my quest to optimize my blog.

Pinoy Pro Blogger presents Busby SEO Challenge

After contemplating on joining or not, I’ve decided to joing the contest, my official entry for the Busby SEO Challenge will be Pinoy Pro Blogger.  All through out my SEO “career” this has been my go to site.

Pinoys Invades Busby SEO Challenge

During my recent check on the Busby SEO Challenge site’s leaderboard, I saw a number of familiar links.  I’ve seen them before in the Ituloy AngSulong & Paradise Philiipines SEO Contest. The good news is that they are placing well on the challenge.

 Would the winner of this challenge be a Pinoy?  That would be a good news for the Philippine SEO community.  As for me, I’m still deciding to join or not.

It’s Official

It is now out & official, Busby SEO Challenge is the latest SEO contest in the world wide web.

The newest SEO contest is on, the challenge is to optimize the keyword “Busby SEO Challenge” on Google.
PRIZES

  • First prize: $5,000
  • Second prize: $2,000
  • Third prize: $500

I have yet to decide on what URL will I use as an entry.
